In today’s world, many societies only value the women if they perform the functions of man and display her feminine attractions to public. These women are also given the immense responsibility of bearing and rearing children. In short, today’s woman is given responsibility of looking after and earning bread and butter for home. She is also been exploited in the name of so called freedom which is in fact a freedom for men accessing women easily. Woman has to bear more burden than a man in society in name of gender equality. Failed marriages and emotionally distraught children are increasing in number due to gender role differentiation.
Islam values the importance of woman in society but it considers importance of woman in society in a way which is different than modern way discussed above. Regardless of race, color, gender or any other criteria the superiority is Islam is only based on faith , obedience and fear of Allah SWT. Islam clearly demarcates the boundary between the responsibilities of each gender. Allah SWT has entrusted woman for most important duty which is compatible to her.
Nevertheless, Islam is a practical religion, and understands conditions and situations of life. There are many situations in woman may need or want to work. There is common misconception about Islam that it prohibits women from working outside but in real it does not stops women from working but it stipulate some restrictions to save women from exploitation and safeguarding her honor and dignity. Some conditions for muslim women seeking employment is given below.
In Islam concept of Ideal women is different from the man made concepts which are exploiting women in the name of freedom and equality. Islam gives women a set of genuine responsibilities which are which suits her. By no means Islam suppress the women or negates the role of women in building a society. The important saying states that:
Behind every successful man there is a woman.”
All successful person is nurtured in the laps of women. Men are molded in the shadows of ideal women. It may be the touch of a loving mother or the embrace of a devoted wife which propels man to the summits of success.
According to Islam the ideal woman is the nucleus of the family and bonds the whole family strongly. When the father is busy earning bread and butter for family it’s the ideal women who take care of kids by wrapping them in blanket of love and affection. Child needs love and concentration which is not possible if both parents and involve in making money for family. There must be one who can feed them ardently with the desired care and love. The mother act as first learning institute for kid and sets the foundation for education for kid. A ideal Muslim lady is the one who set a strong foundation. When a practicing Muslim mother worships Allah SWT at her home, her kids will observes the mother inquisitively and try to intimate her and they will learn to worship Allah in young age. With the time he/she will turn into a God fearing and responsible person. A Muslim women is also responsible for building a strong moral character in her kids.
Like other mothers the ideal women of Islam also tells stories to their kids. But her stories are not about fictitious characters, she narrates the stories of our beloved Prophet Mohammed Peace be upon him, other prophets, noble companions and other pious Muslims. She narrates the stories which infuses lofty aspirations and inspires kids with real heroes. It’s the ideal women that introduce her kids to Allah Almighty and induce his love in their hearts. She is the one who gives concept of right and wrong and places halal morsels in the mouth of kids. She raises kids with voice of Quran resonating in their ears which instills the prophetic value and ethics is them. She is the mother which tells her kids to start every work with the name of Allah and such a mother is ideal woman in Islam.
The sight of an ideal woman is cooling and soothing to her parents coolness of her parent’s eye. She serves her parents and protect her chastity and honor for sake of her parent’s honor. She brings delight and pride to her parents. She is like a princess to her husband as she treats him like a prince. She does not fall short in her duties to her husband. She keeps intensity of love high with her husband and makes home a place which can dissolve all tiredness and frustration.
The ideal woman is a caring friend. Her shoulder is always nearby for a friend in need. She is a refuge for the weak ones. Others find solace and comfort in her midst. She expels evil, sadness and gloom with her soft touch. Her soft and warm tone draws the hearts together.
In essence, the ideal woman is the pivot of humanity. She is the balance in society. She is the one who has to raise a upcoming generation. She is jewel of her parents, a fortune for the children, treasure of her husband and blessing for humanity.

At number of occasions in Quran the importance of learning Quran is mentioned. Quran itself invites believers to learn Quran. Learning Quran is not just reading. It involves thoughtful study of divine messages and instruction for humanity in Quran, which are sent by Allah for welfare of humans. Its matter of death and life for Muslim Quran says:

The Glorious Quran is the fountain head of all learning. This is the basic source to get knowledge about anything. Believers who recite, learn and impart teachings of Quran are noble in sight of Allah and He promised gracious, honorable and lofty reward for those who learn Quran.
““The best amongst you is he who learns the Quran and teaches it.” From this saying of Prophet Mohamed Peace be upon him it is obvious that its obligatory for each Muslim to teach and learn Quran. The Prophet Himself was a preacher of Quran and his noble companions were learner. Quran brought a revolution in the lives of His noble companions and they became the best Muslims of this ummah due to their best teacher and best understanding of Quran. Now we are not able to get grace of Prophet Mohamed Peace be upon him directly, so only mean of guidance for today’s Muslims is Quran.

[Quran Al-Baqarah 2:2]
Quran was revealed for human beings to make their life smooth and . Allah Almighty has promised great rewards and vritues for reading and following Quran
“Had We sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rending asunder by the fear of Allah. Such are the parables which We put forward to mankind that they may reflect.”
[Quran Al-Hashr 59:21]
In Quran and hadith countless rewards are promised for those who learn Quran and practice the teachings of Quran. Each word of Quran adds 10 virtues in your account. In different Hadiths the virtues of glorious Quran are discussed:
An authentic hadith in At-Tirmithee states:
“Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward. And that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is a letter, rather I am saying that “Alif” is a letter, “laam” is a letter and “meem” is a letter.” So increase your recitation of the Qur’an to gain these merits, and to gain the following merit as well.”
When beginners start to learn Quran they are not fluent and smooth with Quran reading, because they are not well versed in Arabic language. But there is double reward for their effort to learn Quran. A hadith related by Ayesha Siddiqah states:
Verily the one who recites the Qur’an beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have TWICE that reward.”
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
One of the countless benefits of Quran reading is that Quran will be given permission to intercede on day of judgment and it will be intercessor for its readers. Allah raises the status of Muslim by Quran in this world and hereafter. The more recitating, learning and practicing
Quran leads to higher status of Muslim. Those who learn Quran are also blessed with peace and happiness in their life and their prosperity and welfare is promoted by blessings of Allah. Many of their worries and regrets are often dispelled through blessing of Quran.
“Those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism], and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, verily, in the remembrance of f Allah do hearts find rest”.
(Qur ‘an 13: 28)
Education is process , system or method through which something is instilled in human being. Human being which is recipient of education is also known as “rational animal”. Man needs education to perform his duties and responsibilities. The Islamic concept of education is not
based on acquiring skills for earning. Islam emphasizes on education that is beneficial for a person and society as a whole. According to Islam there are two basic types of education.
Religious knowledge refers to information about instructions and guidelines from Allah Almighty that how a person should live and behave in his life. Secular education is for day to day dwelling. The specialty of Islam is that the first revelation of Holy Quran was about learning.
“Read and your Lord is Most Honorable, who taught (to write) with the pen, who taught man what he knew not.”
Islam made education obligatory for each and every male and female Muslim to learn and acquire knowledge. In Islam education is demarcation of one’s status as Quran Says
“Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know?” (Al-Zumr, ayah 9)
And on another place it states:
“Allah grants wisdom to whom He pleases and to whom wisdom is granted indeed he receives an overflowing benefit.”
(Al-Baqarah, ayah 269)
With out education one can not perceive the message and commandants of Allah. With little knowledge we are prone of being betrayed from right path. The danger of ignorance is that a person can not differentiate between right and wrong and he can be easily a victim of Satan.
He is at risk of losing most invaluable gift of his life that is “Iman”. A life of educated person is enlightened and he can clearly identify and follow the right path .
Acquiring knowledge is crucial act in Islam. In Quran Allah Almighty invites human to investigate and ponder the creation of Universe. Allah asks people to travel on then planet to gain knowledge and travelling in path of seeking knowledge is worship in Islam. Knowledge acquired by struggle leads person closer to Allah Almighty and jannah. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) Said:
“One who treads a path in search of knowledge has his path to Paradise made easy by God…”
(Riyaz us-Saleheen, 245)
Education is not only about learning, we must pass and deliver the gained knowledge to others so that they can also get benefitted from merits education. Islam asks followers to learn Quran and teach it to others. This hadith is about reward of teaching beneficial knowledge to others.
“God, His angels and all those in Heavens and on Earth, even ants in their hills and fish in the water, calls down blessings on those who instruct others in beneficial knowledge.”
(Tirmidhi, Hadith 422)
